Courtney Gonzalez is a native of San Antonio and graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University (BA 1999, MA 2003) and St. Mary’s University (MA 2006). She currently teaches the college level English courses (Composition I and II (ENGL 1301/1302), British Literature I/II (ENGL 2322/2323)) and various electives for Frank L. Madla Early College High School. She has been a high school English teacher since 2010 and a college adjunct instructor since 2006. In her life before teaching, she was an editor for 11 years. When not teaching, she spends time with her husband, son and their numerous pets.
